Fort Clinch Secession Garrison

Help us garrison an original Civil War fort! Sleep in the barracks, drill on the parade field, and post guard mount on the walls.

• Enlisted should wear early war militia dress and accoutrements, officers should wear the battalion uniform

• No tents necessary, enlisted men will sleep in the barracks and officers will occupy the officers quarters

Though it was unfinished at the start of the war, Fort Clinch was occupied by Secessionist forces in 1861. They remained until Robert E. Lee, commanding the department, sensed it's impending fall to the Federal navy and ordered it evacuated. We will be portraying the secessionists, so our normal AoT impression is not needed.
